eShark is proud to be involved in the first ever baseline assessment of a shark sanctuary. The Great Fiji Shark Count will take place throughout Fiji in April 2012! eShark has developed the datasets and surveys for divers and fishers to easily record their observations for this event. These observations will be used to describe current populations and to assess the success of the shark sanctuary in the future. The success of this project depends on the hardworking individuals in Fiji that are getting the eShark surveys in the hands of divers and fishers - giving participants the chance to contribute their valuable experiences. eShark greatly appreciates the hard work of these individuals, all the divers and fishers that contribute data, and all the partners listed below.
